Theta is an 11.7-petaflops supercomputer based on Intel processors and interconnects technology, an advanced memory architecture, and a Lustre-based parallel file system, all integrated by Cray’s HPC software stack.

Skin design for Theta supercomputer to include scientific visualization and graphics generated from The Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF), a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science User Facility located at Argonne National Laboratory, enables breakthroughs in science and engineering by providing supercomputing resources and expertise to the research community.
